Name a more exciting fantasy fight than Wilfredo Gomez vs Erik Morales

Sanchez and Gomez was a similar size difference to what there would have been had sanchez gone up and fought a big lightweight like Duran or Ortiz.

Gomez really needed to be at the very top of his game(which he hadn't been for a couple of years) and likely to have a better chin than he did to have a chance of making it very competitive.

If the roles were reversed with Gomez being at his peak and Sanchez the one full originial weightclass smaller fighter moving up, i doubt he wins.He'd do better than Gomez though because he had a better jaw and was in better shape.

 

I always felt that Sal was (along with Monzon) the most relaxed fighter in the ring that I've ever seen. He seemed so unaffected by it all. Except when he fought Gomez. He seemed to be more amped up for that one.

 

Evander Holyfield vs ken norton.two very muscular and hugely entertaining fighters.

 

Paez vs Hamed would have been fun. Just on the entertaining entrances alone.
