    Never happen for me.

But there have been boxers that I have lost interest in because of a bad performance in a fight.

Diaz robbery win over Malignaggi .

Didn't care for Paulie at all , but after he was robbed , I looked back at his old fights and saw the talent/skill and he won me over . Loved it when he got revenge and won the rematch over Diaz .

Paul Williams dominating win over Winky Wright .

I realized what a unusual and unique fighter Williams really was all this time . 2007 Paul Williams dismantles any WW you put in front of him .

Sonny Liston knockout win over Cleveland Williams - Williams was the closest thing to Iron Mike back in that day . He was known for his combination of hand speed and vicious power . He towered over Sonny , at 6ft3 tall and rocked Liston with everything he had and hit him with haymaker after haymaker.... Sonny's facial expression never changed .

Williams devastating power could not break Liston , and his soul was taken in that fight in just 3 rnds Sonny walked threw him , battered and stopped him .

Made me realized what a freak of nature and underrated Sonny Liston was .

Looking at his old videos also made me realized how versatile of a fighter he was .

Put it this way , if There was No Ali people would be calling Liston the Greatest .

Same for me! He literally retired a top 5 p4p operator that night. Still not completely sold on him though.

    Groves vs Froch 1.

Still think it was a robbery (and I was rooting for Froch at the start). Mills Lane would NEVER have stopped the fight at that point!

I agree with some of the other posters about Herrera too - though I never disliked the guy at all. Indifferent, yes.

Foreman over Frasier- I just really didn't appreciate Foreman's power until that view.
Recently, BRADLEY in his war with Provodinikov. I hated Timmy after his postfight interview with Pac I. But his heart and then his humbleness after Provod made me a Bradley fan. I think he's a great guy.
Also, didn't change my view but I caught Lomachenkos last fight and I think I'm going to start following him now.

Groves in the first Froch fight, though didn't necessarily become a fan I did grow a great amount of respect for him in the fact that he could back up his mouth.

Thurman win over Chavez. I always appreciated Thurmans confidence and boxing IQ, but I wanted to see how he would react when he fought a veteran with a good chin and toughness to match. Well after getting hurt and nose broke (if not mistaken), Thurman ends up getting the stoppage over an undefeated durable/dirty fighter. I have been rooting for him ever since. I am looking forward to his fight versus The Ghost (Guerrero). This will be another test, but if he stops him like I think he can, watch out other welterweights!

Hated victor ortiz (after thinking he was a potential great and then seeing him unfold against maidana) but then he had that fight with berto...I was impressed. Of course he fell from grace once again shortly thereafter. I thought he had it together n was on track after the berto fight. So I guess that qualifies. He ain't fooling me again tho. Haha. That guy had tons n tons of potential. Stupid.

I know some others have mentioned him as well; but Bradley v Provodnikov is one that switched me from indiffence to respect. Nowadays interested to see how/what he does next.
