The thread titles been changed to exclude WBU so Hatton now doesn't count.

WBU shouldn't count in my view.

People knock the WBO solely out of some idiotic idea that it's lesser than other belts.

Well, IBF proved it's colors when it kept Judah as it's champion after Baldomir, solely so they could collect sanctioning fees on the PBF fight.

WBA proves it's colors in most divisions with their interim, regular and super champion status which realistically means they can have up to three champions at any time.

WBC is usually the "fighters" belt, the one that guys like Floyd and Oscar go after, although Oscar has said on many ocassions he prefers the Ring belt. WBC has had a lot of vacancies recently though, meaning many times, champions of theirs haven't bet a true champion

WBO has had it's flaws, a weak mandatory system for sure, but they're the least likely to strip their fighters, even following unification and more often than not, it's their belt that is unified with other belts.

    My ranking

    #1 - Ring
    #2 - WBC
    #3 - WBO
    #4 - IBF
    #5 - WBA.

just to clarify, it must be an active fighter who has 10 successful defenses of the WBA, WBC, WBO, or IBF belts

    so far we got:
    Calzaghe
    BHOP
    RJJ
    Calderon
    Wlad
    Zsolt Erdei
    Mosely
    JC Gomez
    Wonjongkam

    any more?

I don't care who you are fighting, but it takes talent to defend the belt that many times as your opponents are always bringing their best.

If Calzaghe doesn't lose his next fight, he sets history I believe.

The only fighter to hold all four ring belts at a given weight, to have unified the division with at least three belts at once, to hold the ring title, to beat #2 and #3 in his division and to retire undefeated.
