Thanks. I dont think some people really comprehend the abuse a fighters hands have to endure. Thousands of rounds of sparring, thousands of rounds of heavy bag work, thousands of rounds of padwork, and of course the actual fight with smaller gloves, and less wrap to protect the hands. I also disagree with most wrapping methods. Most trainers use so much tape and gauze that it's nearly impossible to properly close your hand n make a tight fist. I also think gloves need to be redesigned to allow a fighter to properly close his hand. A fighter in our gym doesnt put his hand all the way in a glove. he actually makes a fist before he puts his hand in the glove, and puts his hand in the glove like that,
No list of cheaters is complete without that cheating clubfighter John Ruiz. His constant excessive holding and low blow faking is about as low as it gets.
Yea, thats smart on his part. All the gloves Ive dealt with you cant make a complete fist either. It's half ass. Uncomfortable in a way.
I emailed USADA and they confirmed that if a lab was looking for lidocaine, that it would be detected if they were looking for it.
You took a small part of what was said. This quote makes it look like he's saying that their system for all athletes is not capable. Which is false, he's referring to the time frame of which the USADA would test for with boxers and their fights.
Bernard Hopkins is the biggest cheater in boxing history. Headbutts, holding, cliching, wrestling, faking low blows and injuries, rabbit punches are some of his ilimited arsenal.
