I kind of enjoyed Spinks-Qawi, though I get what people are saying. It was taut and full of tension throughout, though few good punches were landed.

    Pacquiao vs Mosley

It was Manny comes in and lands a combo, then Shane holds, the ref resets them, and the repeat.

Canelo v Cotto - where were the prolonged body exchanges? both guys trading combinations leaving it all hanging out? As it turned out Cotto couldnt budge Canelo and Canelo never pushed for a finish and fought conservatively despite being in control.

Danny Green vs Anthony Mundine was a match up of 2 top 168 contenders both in their primes and for bragging rights in Australia. It was Mundine backing up outboxing Green easily with no thrills no great exchanges it was forgetable. Green made 3-4 wikd rushes in the early rounds but never landed. Mundine showboated but his offense was adequate but not devastating.

Oscar de la Hoya had some real dud fights. They came against great names and too much fanfare. Looking at these fights from the pure "was it entertaining/ was it a lot of fun to watch" perspective:
    - Mosely vs ODLH 2 should have been a great fight technical with awesome exchanges. It didnt live up to anywhere near the expectations and was just average viewing.
Hopkins vs ODLH - It woukd be hard pressed to say the first 4 rounds were "exciting".

Morrison-Foreman wasn't terrible but it wasn't exactly exciting and a disappointment.

Yeah, the majority of DLH's big PPV fights against top opponents weren't the most fan-friendly. Mosley 1 and Vargas were excellent, but most of the others ranged from mediocre to decent. Not always his fault, but that's how they turned out. The Quartey fight is one of the most overrated fights ever, and shows how 2 rounds can totally distort people's memories (and make them forget the other 10).

Despite the horrible decision, the Sturm fight was actually pretty entertaining as far as two-way action goes.

    Chavez vs Pea
Pea made that fight unwatchable. Like most of his fights.
