Max Baer won the heavyweight crown and remained a force but he was known more for clowning around and his womanizing than taking boxing seriously.

Contrary to the Cinderella Man movie, he didn't train properly for that fight, and clowned around in the ring against Jimmy Braddock, which lost him the fight.

Michael Moorer as well. He wasn't too fond of training, esp running.

On a domestic level John McDermott had a few decent scraps despite the state hes in.

Thank **** no one had the audacity to try and say Eric Esch :patsch

It's mind blowing that ATG's like Willie Pep, Monzon and Benitez didn't take the profession seriously and still were as good as they were. Their talent was really off the charts. These guys could have probably retired undefeated at the age of 50 if they had a solid work ethic/ healthy lifestyle

Roger Mayweather .. He would hardly do any road work or get in top condition, relied more on skill .

    Duran hated to train
    Wilfredo Benitez hardly ever trained
Wilfredo Gomez had a good work ethic early in his career later on he barely trained and it cost him dearly vs Sanchez
Cotto prior to the Cuban had bull**** training camps
Trinidad had a great work ethic and ran marathons between fights watch any Trinidad fight he is never winded ever.
