    Ray was clearly a shot fighter at that point so I don't think this applies


    Jones was shot when he lost to Hopkins and Lebedev, and near shot when he lost to Johnson

    I think the question is more relevant to e.g. Lennox who lost in his prime to Rahman when he should have blasted him out first time round

    The Cotto fight was after his Mayweather suspension? I didn't know that. How much do you think the low blows affected him

    Agreed on all counts.

    I label the Rahman win over Lewis in the "one shot can change history" category. Rahman had one shot at winning that fight -- landing a big right hand. He had been trying all night and finally landed one. It might only happen once every 20 times they fight, but it happened when it needed to.
