Foreman knocked out Moorer when he was 45. He didn't fight when he was 35, but by implication, he surely would have been elite, had he done so?

foreman wasnt elite at 45. knocking out moorer doesnt make you elite. But he was a solid world class titlist, which is shockingly good at that age.

hopkins really, 36-39, still beating world classes unimpeded and in is stride. I am not sure how he kept his body together through it.

mayweather at about 36 was still elite. All the others were passing out of elite form around about 36 at the latest.

pacman...? brrr not really, hes was past elite at 36.

    hopkins sure

calzaghe not sure he even made elite before 35? who did he face to prove elitedom before kessler, and even that was a shady victory with kessler injured.

klits - come one! elite means you dont get killed easily by noones again and again and again.

    lewis - yes

foreman - not by middle age no.

3G - well we have yet to see him perform post 35. Watch and see.

Yeah I know. That’s the depressing part...it only gets worse from here on out! What made me feel really old though is when I tried watching the Grammy’s this year and literally had not even heard of 90% of the musicians.

The trick is learning to accept it, otherwise you become bitter towards those young *******s.

I wouldn't worry about it. 90% of the music is just noise (although i probably sound old saying that)

Yeah, that is a good point. And I do feel much wiser than my younger self, so there’s always that.

I agree. And what happened to good old fashioned rock music? It’s like it doesn’t even exist anymore.
