Klitschko's beat everyone/ Cleaned out the division and dominated it for 10-15 years. Mandatory after mandatory Knocked out. It'll be a long time before a heavyweight has a really long reign as champion like the Brilliant Wladimir Klitschko that's for sure. Amazing fighters.

A lot of people are listing people whom I don't consider truly elite, or who were formerly elite but had obviously significantly declined from their primes by 35. While you can say that someone like Azumah Nelson was definitely elite in his prime, I think the test of his eliteness was in beating Fenech and Gomez his fellow elites. After age 25, when he's already picking up losses, sure he briefly captures a title from Gabriel Ruelas and then he only manages to defend it once against Leija. Beltholder level is just below elite. You can coast at that level for a while and not be caught slipping. The test of eliteness is a significant win against a fellow elite, like a Hopkins/Trinidad situation or some superhuman feat like Duran accomplished beating a much larger and pretty good Iran Barkley.
