I just re-watched Legendary Nights to confirm my suspicions, and there was in fact a silly ass dude on there who says, "Pryor had to knock him out otherwise he would have lost the fight". In any event, great fight and the better man won on the night.

But momentumwise. Arguello was starting to have it his way, like he usually does in the very late rounds of his 15 round fights. & even landed a tremendous right hand a couple of rounds prior. Which made Pryors sudden attack all the more suprising.

In a simular fashion. Lupe Pintor was known for late fight heroics. Was starting to turn the fight his way. Wifredo Gomez' sudden explosion in the 14th caught Pintor by suprise! Score's were real close, But Gomez could've been leading. Just the suddeness of the turnaround was stunning.
