He would have a good chance

I think Toney beats Hopkins and Calzaghe

No need to comment on Jones

Jones, Calzaghe, Hopkins H2H level above toney, McCallum- Eubank = 50/50, older fighters - ezzard charles beats him but only seen him at 175.

Toney is overrated, H2H he isn't on the level of Jones BHop and Calzaghe, they all would beat toney convincingly, JC is Underrated, he wasn't really open for right hands when he boxed - which he could do it's only when he brawled he opened up against toney he would just outbox and outwork toney, toney's defence wasn't all that good he got hit plenty, hopkins would find a way, RJJ does what he did every time, Like JC he is too fast and would clinch on the inside

Eubank barely got past Malinga, Thornton and Schommer. No way he beats Toney. Toney beat McCallum who was a much better fighter than Eubank

    Hopkins
hasn't beaten anyone near Toney's level. On the other hand Toney beat McCallum who was a much better fighter than Hopkins.

Calzaghe has never outboxed anyone as good as Toney. Toney has beat guys like Nunn, R.Johnson and Jirov. Calzaghe would get hit with a right hand counter everytime he throws the right jab.

Can't comment on Charles. I dont know enough about him

The fighters who gave Toney problems were fighters who used a lot of lateral movement and found a way to neutralise his counter right.

Prime Kalambay is a very tough fight for almost anybody - good shout.

Hopkins - could have been ultra-technical fight for the ages.

Calzaghe - loses widely or get stopped.

    Roy Jones Jr of course
    Sugar Ray Leonard of course
The guy who would beat him 6 pounds north of that weight Montell Griffin even if it was at 168 pounds
Either Joe Calzaghe or prime Nigel Benn or Steve Collins
Maybe Fabulous Frankie Liles or the guy who beat him Byron Mitchell

    Recent memory...

    Calzaghe
    Jones
    Hopkins

The above 3 i give a very good chance of beating Toney (or have already beaten him in Jones's case).

Eubank could make it interesting but could be just as inconsistent as Toney himself.
Ward has a long way to go but that would also prove an interesting clash of styles.
Dawson obviously fights at 175 not 168 but that jab would be a good weapon to have against Toney.
