This will shock you, but im not the Calzaghe fan you would think I am. I only ever really entered Calzaghe debates because when I first came on ESB I was surprised at how many made comments that were incorrect and who really didnt know the division. A division I have watched from the start.
I do agree SMW is probably my favourite division since watching Leonard/Hearns 2 live, so yes I did watch how good some fighters were that many on here would not have known due to not having the hype.
If im honest I didnt care so much about him being at LHW but was disappointed when the Collins fight fell through.
I would have favoured Calzaghe to have beaten Dariusz. When watching Jones against Woods I would have favoured Calzaghe also.
There were other fights I was hoping would happen like H Graham/D Starie, Reid/Francis, Kessler/Larsen/Markussen, Ottke/Beyer/Veit

Froch was a British champ when Calzaghe was champ and Hopkins for his LHW title was a far bigger fight and more difficult fight. Even when Froch was active, many would have favoured Hopkins to have beaten Froch.

You would like me on ignore as you are finding that many of your arguments are failed.
Loudon often posts on his opinions and trys to call them facts. I like to stick to the facts and that is where some fall down when trying to rewrite history.
I didnt say I wasnt a Calzaghe fan, but not to the level many of you would think. I do however know the SMW division and that is something that many dont know, which is why I can pick holes in many threads about Calzaghe and other SMWs. Herol is a good example when he has admitted to not knowing anything about many of the fights and fighters he is commenting on.
You have wanted to twist things out of context.
Tell me where you think I have and I can definitely show you where you have. If you are thinking Herol is a good source for a subject involving Calzaghe, I cant see how you can take that, and comment the other way without knowingly being without some sort of agenda

Bailey I really don't know what to say you say that you are not a Joe fan a few post back to that and you mention agenda
I have stated before you definitely have followed smw a lot more carefully but I don't rate joes CV to a large extent you there you ain't prepared to look at it from a different view
Joe career a large part is for a certain promoter take low risk to an extent and don't get me wrong I think Joe was good but did he do himself justice to what he could have done win or lose ,it would have added to his legacy
I believe Joe was his own worst self critic like Carl where as Carl is honesty about his nerves and self doubt Joe is in denial , his promoter and his own dad are known to have said

In a fair and neutral setting I dont see any way Ottke could win. Ottke's name will always be mud to me because of the Robin Reid robbery.

 

If Zaggers fought Froch, Herol would be pyssing all over him right now for ducking RJJ "who would always have beaten him and he knew it" or some other crock of sh*t.
