By the same logic how many of the actual USA fighters are actually Americans? Most of them come from Africa and Mexico. Get my point?

 

If he's talking about born and bred Germans of other ethnicity, then your point would be moot. None of those champs were born and bred in Germany other than Maske and Braehmer.

 

Sturm was born and raised in Leverkusen for example

 

In my book he would be German, same as Maske.
