Name HOF fighters that were never hurt/knocked down in their career

From The Ring's report, it sounds like Sanchez was hurt badly against Escobar. A guy I know who was ringside for that said that he thought Sanchez lost. I don't think Sanchez ever fought a southpaw again after that, though I could be wrong.

 

Admittedly this is not a particular Sanchez fight I’ve seen. Who else can shed some light?

 

I always read that Benny Valgar was never dropped but I now went to boxrec to check and they list his last ever bout to be a stoppage loss but there is no info on how exactly it happened.

Billy Graham, the welterweight from the 50s was never dropped in more than 100 pro bouts.
Barney Ross

 

Ross was reportedly dropped/hurt in the 1st round of his 1st fight w/ Cef Garcia.

Graham may have been down &/or noticeably hurt (depending on sources) in the 4th Gavilan fight.

 

He went down vs Roy Jones Jr.

 

Kid Gavilan

 

He wasn't hurt iirc

 

Gaby had a great chin, too. He was knocked down just once in his career when he climbed up from a flash knockdown at the hands of Miguel Lora to score a sensational second-round knockout. Canizales had one more fight, a points defeat to Duke McKenzie, and then retired.

 

Gavilan got dropped by both Ike Williams and Carmen Basilio.

Hmnn..I could swear I read somewhere in a book or something that he never got dropped. But of course, writers can be wrong.

Carmen Basilio of all people? Basilio was not that heavy fisted...

 

I'm not the most knowledgeable on Charley Burley but I've never heard of him being floored I know he was never stopped.

 

I think Dock manoeuvred badly and Derev also low-blows right after hitting the liver shot, which Dock breaks the action for. I think Dock did a pretty bad job reffing this fight all around though tbh.
