I would say, in context... Norton Witherspoon Mercer Shavers 1 Shavers 2 Cooney (in context!) Berbick Leon Spinks Weaver Bonecrusher
These are just title wins. Norton Witherspoon Cooney Berbick Leon Spinks Shavers Ali James Smith Carl Williams Bey Weaver is 11th. Snipes is 12th.
You know, whereas I don't agree, O am glad you can find space for Ali, and Bey was a likable guy who I believe died young. Glad he is remembered.
I'd have the domination of Cobb above Crusher. Cobb was made for Holmes but tho 8-1 Holmes fought like Cobb was 8-1 whereas Smith was an awkward night out when they weren't even taking bets. Cobb was a fringe contender and tough as nails. He didn't win a round.
Behold the résumé highlights of the most over-rated “under-rated” Heavy Champ of all-time. No wonder he rates himself no. 1 with lethal seriousness.
Yes I'd say so Holmes is in top form and Berbick gives a good account himself pushing Holmes most of the way. Holmes pretty much won most of the rounds but Berbick was competitive in the most of them and made Holmes work.
Based on the fun we are having with Foreman, let's revive Holmes. Since Mr. Magoo and Dynamic Puncher say they agree with me, I am adding their votes in the same as mine. Since JohnThomas says he would swap out Cobb for Crusher, I am going to add nine that agree and Cobb for 1. Everyone, please chime in!
