I've never understood the reason for slagging our own fighters and this is a big fight that most fans want to see.
You are an idiot of a man. Scott Quigg is not good in front of the camera, no crime there !! But he is good in the ring, is world class as is Frampton, and by all accounts he is a lovely guy who is the most professional boxer in Britain. This is a real pick em fight and personally i think it will be super close and competitive. Its a huge fight anywhere in the UK, and your nastiness towards Quigg is a joke.
Frampton & Quigg have been interviewed together a couple of times and always seem to be respectful to each other. Both know that the other guy is good and both are confident of winning the fight. Both seem like good lads to me. Most of the rubbish is being spouted by promoters, marketing guys and nuthuggers. Sensible folks will ignore it because the fighters themselves don't have a problem with each other.
Quigg may not be the best in front of the camera, I could understand the criticism if he aspired to be a presenter. He is a world champion though. Whether he should be is a different debate. There are too many titles but as a sanctioning body the WBA say he is the champion, therefore he is the champion. I don't like the regular/super champion fragmentation but it is a selective argument. Since relinquishing the IBF, Carl Froch is still recognised as a champion yet only has the regular belt. I like quigg, he seems a nice bloke who puts in the graft to realise his dream. Frampton is class. Also seems a nice bloke with a massive opportunity. Can see why he would start as the favourite but I wouldn't write quigg off. Would love to see the fight this year. Not interested in why it hasn't happened before and not interested in politicking of McGuigan and Hearn, as a fan I just what to see the fight. They both deserve to make good money and it shouldn't be complicated to do the deal if promoters and TV networks want it to happen. Id go for Frampton in 6 or a quigg stoppage in later rounds. If points, depends on location but maybe lean to Frampton Just my twopenneth
Amir Khan is the most delusional active British fighter by distance. Khan has recently said Mayweather is only fighting Pacquiao to avoid him. I've heard some delusional rubbish over the years but that tops the lot.
Why is Khan being mentioned? He's beaten MAB, Paulie, Maidana & Devon.......... Strange bunch you lot.
