Some of these posters here don't really know **** about boxing. I don't even talk boxing with them. Look at how they are judging Floyd. One said that Barrera was a prime ATG when Pac beat him, one said that Hatton was his best win, another said that Floyd cheated JMM at the scales, and was "chicken****" to engage Marquez-****en ignorant. I mean look at that chimp statement.

Floyd has fought guys who will wind up in the HOF. Floyd didn't have a Fab 4 at sfw, low, jww's, ww, or jmw. But he fought some very good fighters and tough fighters through out his career and prevailed at all of those weights.

He didn't get ktfo, or had excuses made for him when **** happened to him in the ring. He's been outweighed in fights and never made excuses. He got caught by Corley, he got caught by Shane...they say he lost to Castillo which is laughable, he lost to Maidana which is ****en truly laughable, and ran against Pac. Oh, and he beat up women. This is how they judge Floyd. :nut

I dont see Corrales or Castillo fitting with any of the names I just mentioned. They just dont!

I see things differently. As I recall, Corrales was favored by many to KO Mayweather.

Hearns wasn't a prime HOF'er when he faced Leonard, but Duran I can say was. I can ride with that. Hearns wasn't a HOF'er yet when he faced Benitez or Duran. Hagler was cemented as an ATG when he beat Hearns. Hearns legend didn't lose a beat. A few of these guys became who they were at certain times during and after their careers. Some during their prime, some after they fought on and retired. But people remember them for their style, and that's the real argument when they compare them to Floyd. Just keep it G.

Young Floyd they say was a beast. As he got older and his hands got brittle and as he rose up in weight, they stopped liking him because he was talking big, but winning decisions. The MayVinci Code was never broken, so now their lame attempts at discrediting Floyd are surfacing based on how Floyd has preserved himself at an older age. They hate Floyd' lack of power more than his genius. That's how Floyd is judged according to Gannicus, a chimp, and a few other posters.

This is an old and dead topic. Vast majority of people concede that Barrera was at the very least 95% prime for the Pacquiao fight. He came back and whooped Morales after the fight.

I'm not of the majority. And Barrera wasn't an ATG at that stage either.

Look, your whole size and weight class argument is stupid.. All boxing deal with its weight.. If your 5feet or 6feet tall it doesn't matter.. Marquez decided to move up to WW.. He still fights at WW.. If he went back down after the Floyd fight, then you would have a much better argument..

And the reason why Floyd isn't chasing GGG is because he doesn't need to, Floyd is super old in boxing years, and Floyd fights at 147 despite winning fights at 154...

You guys act like an ATG is waiting on every corner! Floyd had an impectable career, no question! You can't go 49-0 and not know how to fight! I don't care how much you rig the game, because if it could be done, it would have been done a long time ago! Especially when you consider how corrupt boxing is!There are some people who will never give Floyd credit for anything he's accomplished in the sport! Ive been coming on this sight for over 10 years and I've heard guys critisize Floyd for ducking this guy and that guy and when a fight is made with one of those guys , those same critics start trashing the very guy they were critisizing Floyd for not fighting! Laughable!!!

It's the truth. You could say Marquez, but Floyd dominated him.

You mean the nearing 40 fighter who's never faced a true welter in his whole career?
The one that went up two weight divisions and trained throwing rocks over his head?
The old man who got cheated at the scales?

Lets be real here, Marquez isn't and never will be a true welterweight.
Pacquiao and Bradley are not true welters, they're small welters.
Any of Marquez' fights with Pacquiao or Bradley could have been fought at 140 lbs and the fighters would have made weight rather easily.

Marquez is Mayweather's huge win over an ATG!

Prime for prime and p4p! :yep
