Name me ONE FIGHT from history...

John L Sullivan vs. Jake Kilrain

 

Four off the top of my head I have to choose from.... Wolgast v Nelson ... Les Darcy vs McGoorty II .... Graziano v Zale II (well the first was awesome too but will go with this one) .... and the Jeanette v McVey fight (the 49 rounder).


Being a Darcy fan I would pick that one because it is reputed to have been an awesome fight and Darcy was awesome in this, it may well be the greatest stoush that was ever seen in Australia.. but I will go with the fight that I always wanted to see my whole life and the one out of the four I knew about first and that is the second Zale vs Graziano fight who some claim as the greatest fight of all time.

Why anyone would pick a fight they can easily view on youtube is beyond me what with all the incredible unfilmed fights.

 

It would need to be bouts that would answer the unanswerable questions of today regarding boxing history:

Sullivan vs Corbett
Corbett vs Fitzsimmons
Jeffries vs Corbett
Jeffries vs Sharkey
Johnson vs Hart.
