Name me one person who Calzaghe has beaten that Hopkins wouldn't have?

Uh, Hopkins.

 

In all of the poles posted after the fight 70% of people on here were voting to say that Calzaghe won but they just like to change their mind after a while like they did with the Taylor fights.

 

It's funny how the main opponents people are saying that could beat Calzaghe are all guys Hopkins fought while he was at light heavy (Tarver, Wright, Pavlik) and are wins that Calzaghe beat Hopkins inbetween. Take into account that Calzaghe had a better title reighn at his original weight than Hopkins did as well and it really makes no sense as to why people say Calzaghe is barely a top 100 fighter and Hopkins is a top 30.

 

No it doesn't, and Calzaghe is no where near a top 100 fighter. In previous era's there is a good chance he would not have been a titlists and would have been forced to make competitive fights which would have exposed his obvious faults. If you rank Joe so high you probably need to throw Chris John up there as well. For the record I think Chris John is a much better fighter.
