Name me some examples where a fighter talked himself into getting a fight?

Dillian Whyte. Although him beating Joshua in the amateurs was the major selling point. His trash talk helped a great deal though.

Wilder against Arreola. Wilder talked himself out of Povetkin fight and in to Arreola, must be some kind of record.

    :yep

what an absolutely gigantic let down that was too. All that **** talk leading up to it, the crazy atmosphere as they both entered the ring, basically walking right through the crowd, light drizzle in the air. I was expecting something epic and instead we got toe-gate with Haye dropping to his knees all night. I hope Briggs KO's him.

George Foreman for Holyfield. Briggs is just following old George's footsteps.

I don't understand how people are saying Haye "talked himself" into the Klitschko. Haye was the WBA HW champ, so why wouldn't he deserve a unification fight with the holder of the other belts??? Who else deserved the fight if Haye didn't?
