What about the English black Middleweight who fought at the same Olympics as AJ and was touted as something special,think he’s one of Hearns guys who took a loss and is now nowhere?

 

Not gonna name drop or give hints but I know of 3 well known/formerly well known fighters who went off the grid completely due to drug addiction and havent been heard from since, professionally at least.

Devon Alexander and Tommy Oosthuizen flew off the map for a few years each due to addiction. Them resurfacing isnt the norm.

 

Kirk Johnson only fought four times after losing to Vitali in 2003. He disappeared in 2010.

 

Anthony Ogogo? He wasn't one of Hearn's guys but he lost on a Hearn card. Think he took serious damage to his eye and may be registered partly blind

Whatever happened to him? Seemed he had the gift of the gab, had some personality and some decent boxing skills. Plus he was a former Golden Gloves national US champion if I'm not mistaken.
