with Canelo/Chavez ending up a stinker and of course, I don't need to mention the obvious other answer here, Mayweather/Pacquiao, what are some other hyped up fights that failed to deliver?

Fury vs Wlad wasn't that hyped. It was expected to be just another boring walkover for Wlad.

I'm British so I'll throw something different in.

Audley Harrison Vs Everybody, well apart from the time Sprott knocked him out, that was entertaining.

Bellew Vs Cleverly II was another shocker from us Brits, the pressers were explosive but the fight was actually miserable.

And how can I forget David "My Little Toe" Haye Vs Klitschko, we had t-shirts with Haye holding up heads, verbals, threats, the lot and then got that, truly awful, it was actually embarrassing.

I feel I need to take a moment to apologise to anybody from outside the UK who watched any of those, many of us believed the hype too, anyway sorry and I hope it doesn't happen again.

    I didn't think Pac-DLH or Golovkin-Lemieux were duds.

I thought so. I really can't enjoy one sided beatings. Neither fighter eneded in dramatic fashion either. The loser of each fight just accepted it wasn't worth continuing.

    Ah, I see. I guess it's a matter of taste. I don't mind seeing a one-sided beat-down as much as seeing a bore-fest.
