No, Canelos problem was that he is a natural middleweight and Bivol was a grand master of a boxer. I picked Bivol to beat Canelo because styles make fights although i was wary of the judges. Bivol has always been a decent sized 168lber fighting huge guys at 175lbs. That's just facts look at him vs all his LHW opponents and look at his fight night weights on HBO. He said himself at 175lbs he normally rehydrates to 182 and max rehydrates to 184lbs. Canelo himself said he walked around 180-182lbs and that'd be what he would be rehydrating to ( I can link all these interviews if you don't believe me)
Thats not Canelo's natural weight. Canelos have moved up the weights. He is not that effective at LHW as apparent when a slow lumbering Kovalev was outboxing him and Canelo looked plodding and slow himself.
