I know about all this very well. The facts are that Bowe, Lewis, Holyfield and Ruddock engered into a 4 man tournament where the winners of each fight agreed to fight each other. When the time came Bowe broke his word and trashed the belt instead of going forward and fighting him. There was then an offer of a 90\10 split which no fighter would accept under the circumstances. In other words Bowe priced himself out. After that Lewis grew weary of Bowe and didnt need him anymore and Bowe lost to Holy, had two wars with Golota where he appeared shot and then his joining and quitting the Marines. After that his window as a top fighter closed. I.always liked Bowe and thought his upside could have been phenomenal, but he did the ducking not Lewis.

 

It's amazing, the fans of haye are still butthurt after klitchko dominated him and they still can't accept it.

 

Golota told you everything you need to know about bowe and did it twice, he also dropped him twice and if golota could outbox and drop him, haye would knock him back to brownsville , so he can jump on L or G and get off at greenpoint just to get the taste of polish sausage once again.
