He hasn't beaten a guy that I think would beat bowe in his prime. Then again I'd take wlad to out point bowe prime for prime.

 

Since Bowe was outboxed by fat old Toney Tubbs and bot a gift, and since he was twice beaten from pillar to post by fragile Golata and got lucky, I would say a lot of Wlads opponents COULD beat Bowe, though non would be favored.

Povetkin and Byrd would be my most likely choices. With Sultan's southpaw stance, power and hand speed, I would give him a decent chance if he used his early, blitzing style. Haye would get a 10% chance to land a big bomb early.

 

Bowe went life and death with CW Holyfield (who at the time had heart disease and just lost to glsas chinned former LHW Michael Moorer). 18 months later Bowe was humiliated by Polish club fighter Golota.

Povetkin would systematically outbox Bowe and stop him late.

 

Any one of them could beat Bowe, the better way to ask the question: which one of Klitschko's opponents would be a betting favorite over Bowe?:hey

Lol!!! Calling Holyfield at CW is hilarious. He's on every heavyweight top 10 list you find anywhere and many top 5, including the Ring magazines which they placed him at #3 (I have the issue) yeah he started as a CW, Dominated, unified all the titles and then moved up to hunt the most dangerous game at the time Mike Tyson!!

Holyfield made a habit out of knocking off the top contenders under Tyson to increase the time frame on when he'd finally get his shot. I'd say the Dokes Holyfield fought and beat is a much better scalp than most of Wlad'a title defenses. And that was Holyfield just making his way up. When Holy fought Stewart (again before being champ) he was taking on a 24-0 fighter with 24 Kos. I know you don't wanna go resume to resume Holyfield vs Wlad because it'd be laughable for Wlad.

To actually answer the OPs question I'm not sure any of Wlads opponents beat a prime Bowe. I also agree Bowe could never dream of reigning as Wlad has, he's way to lazy and was frequently unmotivated.

Wlad deserves mad respect for his Reign but this Era is bad, not his fault but it just is...

 

Kubrat Pulev would be a hard match for Bowe.
