Canelo is slow and untested with a suspect chin. I doubt Canelo will go far, unless GBP "milks" his career.
Angulo would wreck Canelo, which is why there are conspiracies against him, by keeping him in obscurity in Mexico, cause all the Mexican promoters and TV stations will not get him fights in Mexico, at the US Promoters' request.

Maybe its too much of a juggling act? trying to put on the most competitive fights for their prospects, and putting them into too tough?

 

None so far. Hopefully GBP will get better and developing stars rather then overpaying (with HBO money) and then stealing them from other promoters.

 

Suspect chin? is that in reference to his fight with Cotto's brother? he got hit pretty damn hard in that fight, not just once either, and from what I remember, they were as flush as they come.

I dont know if I'd question his chin, more so his defense at times.

 

they have done a poor job with the likes of victor ortiz and daniel jacobs, they have matched them up against bums for most of their career and then stick them in with top fighters straight away (maidana and pirog). they still havn't learnt how to develop a young fighter. with saul alvarez they shouldn't make the same mistakes, for the next year he should be fighting C - B level fighters which will allow him to develop to a stage where he can beat the elite fighters. alvarez should be fighting people like quintana, collazo, mosley, mayorga, malignaggi, mora and chavez jr, he needs to forget about everyone else until he is ready to fight them.

 

Canelo's chin has not been legitamatly tested.
If he fights a solid fighter now, he's gonna get KO'd, cause he's slow with a suspect chin, that Jose Cotto exposed.
Canelo's been fighting old washed-up has beens and has struggled a bit.
He's gonna lose soon, unless he keeps fighting has-beens.

If GBP wants to make a smart business move and cash-in big on Canelo, they shoudl put Canelo vs Chavez Jr., where 2 undeafeted young Mexican light-skin fighters would sell-out Estadio Azteca in Mexico and generate huge PPV numbers.
