As of now, I know about the only one: Lucien Rodriguez vs Alfredo Evangelista.

    1976 Evangelista KO4 Rodriguez
    1977 Evangelista KO11 Rodriguez
    1979 Evangelista KO2 Rodriguez
    1982 Evangelista LPTS12 Rodriguez

Interestingly, if there were another such examples (Gets stopped every time at least 3 times, then surprisingly gets the win)

I have studied a lot of boxing records (literally thousands), and I have found this to be rare. In fact, I only recall seeing an instance like the one you have here, and unfortunately I do not remember what it was.

This most likely happened in the olden days, the most fights together people would have nowadays is 3 at most and that’s only if they’ve both won 1 each so the have a rubber match

    Interesting

Pacquiao vs Marquez is the same with opposite outcomes at least with Draw, Decision, Decision then KO
Think we would only see this in the older times

Even trilogies have been rare since the onset of the 90s, and before the 60s, it was not uncommon for two guys to meet three, four, five times, and sometimes even more than that.

That's a toughie. I know Bob Satterfield knocked out Johnny Holman twice before Holman turned the trick in their 3rd fight. But 3 times is a good one. Yeah, today it would be almost impossible as fighter A gets KO'd by fighter B and fighter A just retires because he lost his 20-0 record.

Another close example, the most recent, is Michael Sprott vs Danny Williams (Sprott got stopped in 7 and 5, then got the decision)

That also occurred in the Olivares-Chacon trilogy.

I know Langford beat a few guys multiple times but also lost to them. Not got the numbers to hand though

    That's an interesting question!

I thought there for sure would be several such cases from the old days - but I don't seem to be able to come up with any. I can't believe, Evangelista-Rodriguez is the only time in all of boxing history, this has happened - though I'm beginning to think, it may actually be a very rare thing!
