Vitali ALSO nearly KOd Williams in 1.

Difference was, Vitali had the presence of mind to not let Williams get into the fight.:nono

Thats because Vitali was in his prime, how is an old, 36 year old meant to do that when hes already one foot into retirement?

Most prime A-level fighters don't lose. Because when they do, that portion of their career is generally not their prime for obvious reasons.

And the response was, why is that relevent when so many others are rated that way with similar or inferior records? So while this thread may be about Tyson the response was relevent as it shows that the beating of top A-level opponents doesn't appear to be neccessary when people rank older Heavy's, so why is it for Tyson? Anyone who isn't blind could see Tyson was a H2H nightmare in the late 80's.

I asked the question because i felt we should judge ALL heavy greats by the same standard we judge Tyson.

I was awaiting his response and he knew this, thats why he didnt answer my question.

None of the named beat an A level prime fighter.

People may say Riddick Bowe was a great win for Holyfield, but apart from beating Holyfield, what else did Bowe do?

    Bugger all.
