Name some boxers who may deserve to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, but are severely underrated in the boxing industry.

Oscar Larios (aka Chololo): He has 71 fights in his record with 63 wins, 7 losses, and 1 draw. He has a win over future HOFer Israel Vasquez, Wayne McCullough (twice), Cesar Soto, and Nedal Hussein. He has fought and lost to Manny Pacquiao, Jorge Linares, Naseem Hamed, and Agapito Sanchez. So this guy wasn't ducking anyone.

Manuel Medina (aka Mantecas): He has 84 fights in his record with 67 wins, 16 losses, and 1 draw. He has wins over solid fighters such as Kevin Kelley, Frank Toledo, and Scott Harrison. He has lost to future HOFer Juan Manuel Marquez, future HOFer Johnny Tapia, John John Molina, Luisito Espinosa, Naseem Hamed, Derrick Gainer, and Paul Ingle.

John John Molina: He has 59 fights in his record with 52 wins and 7 losses. He has beaten solid fighters like Ben Tackie, Manuel Medina, and Bernard Taylor. His notable losses are to Oscar De La Hoya, Shane Mosely, Tony Lopez, Lupe Suarez, Roberto Garcia, and Juan Lazcano.

Gerry Penalosa: He has 63 fights in his record with 54 wins, 7 losses, and 2 draws. Three of his losses were controversial split decisions. HE HAS NEVER BEEN KNOCKED DOWN IN HIS WHOLE CAREER. He is also a two weight division champion. His notable wins are over Jhonny Gonzales and Ratanachai Sor Vorapin (twice), and Feliciano Dario Azuaga Ledezma. His notable losses are to future HOFer Juan Manuel Lopez, Daniel Ponce de Leon, and In-Joo Cho.

    * Other fighters that have very good records are William Joppy, Vassiliy Jirov, Cesar Soto, Luisito Espinosa, and Jorge Arce.

You left off alot of names on those guys resumes and lot of the losses that you mentioned on those guys they were way past their prime. Ill rate these guys in order.

John JOhn Molina-Underrated and borderline great at JL
Luisito Espinosa - Could punch and was pretty good fighter
Gerry Penalosa - He was at his best at JR bantam but also did could late.
Manuel Medina - Liked him good skills and lot of heart not much of a punch
Oscar Larios- He was pretty good at JF had some good wins
Jorge Arce - He could really punch in his prime
Vasily Jirov- Good Bodypuncher,Good power and physically strong at cruiser
Cesar Soto- He could punch and also had good wins but he looked horrible against Naz and Tapia.
William Joppy Good skills and kind of fast but when it came down to it he wasn nothing special

I think Donald Curry should be in. His resume wasnt the greatest but it was still good, and in HTH matchup in his prime he could hang with or beat a lot of the guys in there.

    Maybe Michael Nunn
Its about time Danny Lopez got in he would have been at the top of the list a few months ago he should have got in a long time ago.

Esteban Dejesus and LUpe Pintor should be in they also are better than some guys already in.

Of the guys you mentioned the only one im sure that should be in is Molina, Espinosa maybe way down the line

Penalosa,And Medina are close but not quite

The other guys id say no.

Why not chuck a few British fighters in there i.e. Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe, Naseem Hamed because the 3 fighters I have just mentioned have resumes to compete with the fighters you have mentioned.

i do not know much about those other fighters. but i agree with you, gerry is HOF-worthy. the guy got robbed 3 times, was never Knocked down and didn't duck anyone, even went up to 122 to fight a dangerous and bigger fighter in juanma lopez.

Johnston is close,im not sure about Arbachakov:think, But Mark Johnson should definitley be in . IMO HTH i like him against any Fly in history, at JB id put him close to the top, I think Mark Johnson should be a first ballot guy but he will probably end up having to wait a few years. Very underrated.
