Judah also lacked stamina, a gameplan, and a good corner.

    Nice thread.
Fighters who did not go as far as I thought they would: Joan Guzman, Naseem Hamed, Fernando Vargas, Andrew Golota, Jermain Taylor, Dariusz Michalcewski, Shane Mosley (Forrest losses shouldn't have happened...), David Reid, Zab Judah, Vassily Jirov, David Haye, Michael Grant.
I would also say Casamayor, I honestly thought 10 years ago that he would be a p4p top 3 fighter. In a sense also Winky Wright (I was looking forward to a clear-cut convincing victory over Taylor and Hopkins).

On the other hand, there are couple of fighters who went further than I ever thought they would be capable of, namely:
Manny Pacquiao: I considered him a one-sided brawler even in 2005.
    Tomasz Adamek
Kelly Pavlik: I never thought he would be able to destroy Miranda and Taylor.
    Hatton
    Arturo Gatti
    Paul Williams

Sam Peter. I thought he was gonna terrorize the HW division with his punch.
