Zab. Has all the physical gifts but his brain is like a go cart in a nascar race.

Aaron Pryor some may regard him as an all time great but I don't reallly think he is and he could have achieved a lot more.

Damn, i shouldve replied to this earlier. Lets gets this right. In your opinon Judah is already a HOF and came short of being an ATG bcuz he was super talented. More like wasted talent. WTF did Judah do to be a HOF? HOF comes first before ATG. Tyson did more with his talent before he got distracted.

WHO IN THE HELL SAID ANNNNNNYTHING ABOUT ZAB BEING IN THE HOF?

The original question was and I quote...

Said nothing about HOFers who were never ATGs.

Zab is more skilled than 99% of the fighters I have seen in my lifetime. AND, AS I SAID, skill and talent wise he had it all, but chin and mental makeup he did not.

When did HOF ever enter into anything I said???

My bad then. I assumed for a fighter to even be considered ATG they had to at least be a certified HOFer or future HOFer like Hopkins, Barrera, DLH etc.

Well of course....I think we all agree there.

But if we are looking at pure skill and potential, can you really think of 5 other fighters that were MORE skilled and accomplished less than Zab.

I mean, Im not a fan of his....but his natural ability is tremendous...off the charts.

Let me try. Jones, Toney, Mayweather, Whitaker, Naz, Camacho Sr, Taylor. Its arguable that Judah has more talent than these guys but they all acomplished more than him IMO.

    I agree with these choices.

Pryor is one of the top 140 lb. fighters ever, but he does tend to often get overrated.

Definitely good choices. I'd like to add Ibeabuchi to the mix. Micheal Nunn may or may not be an all-time great in the eyes of the sports followers, but he definitely had all the goods. McCallum was also another fighter of pretty much the same era that is often shafted on the all time great scale.

    I forgot about Nunn.

    Another waste of talent.

I actually think at his peak at MW, he'd give most MWs in history tough fights. His height, southpaw style, speed, awkwardness, unpredictably would give a lot of guys fits.

When people talk about impressive KOs, I think Nunn's KO over Kalambay was extremely impressive. One punch KO over a very good and durable fighter.
