Name some fights in the past where the winner chose to prolong the beating instead of going for KO?

I never understood why fighters would do this. To me it is mean but I guess they get each other mad. Biggs was not ready for Tyson . I think he had only 16 fights.

He lost his strap to Bradley, he prolly would have eventually... Marquez was as skilled counter puncher as they come, 2nd only to Floyd’s superior athleticism & technique. No lucky punch.

Marquez is From Mexico City. They have a strong tradition of paying respect to the dead. Dia De Los Muertos. His family would have really looked down on him if he fought a ghost.

Everyone of them was past their sell by date George bar JMM, he was outsized as much as out skilled imo, and none really bar prime Pac had the style to really beat him decisively imo, the style is Castillo, Margarito, Duran etc...Maidana was another good example of no where near as skilled but had the style to seriously bother Floyd..Margarito is a stylistic nightmare for Mayweather both Prime

Floyd would never KO Marquez, not in a million years, even with the 3 division size advantage

Margo isn't the stylistic nightmare to anyone that loaded gloved cheat wouldn't win a round against PBF. If you think that then you clearly have an agenda or don't know **** about boxing or both. How does a slow starting guy with no jab slow of both hand and foot with no defense and a low ring IQ beat the best fighter of the era and arguably the best defensive fighter in history who doesn't fade in PBF? Lesser fighters than PBF schooled Margo or beat him. So I want you to draw up a scenario other than PBF breaking his hand from hitting the mummy so many times with clean right hands as to how Margo beats him? You wont do it because it can't happen. The only reason why Margo is always brought up is because they didn't fight if they did PBF would have schooled him and he would be just another guy you would add to your hate filled list that PBF cherry picked, wouldn't give him credit for beating and you would replace Margo with another fighter, rinse and repeat. It's desperate wishful thinking at best and it's funny to watch.

Lastly PBF was 37 and past his best when he fought Maidana stop acting like PBF was prime when he fought Maidana, even still he won 2x.
