It would be like Frazier foreman. You do not meet that sort of power head on.

Wilder ain't got the inside game, foreman didn't either, he'd shove/push them off then punch, Wilder wants you at arm's length not head on in close

Look man, wilder is a wild man, so someone swarming him, he’ll start windmilling on the Inside, hooks and uppercuts, don’t need a carefully planned left hook to the body, he just needs to land one.

I think he would wreck an inside fighter.

Also if you ever boxed, one of the hardest thing to do is going into the jaws of the lion when they hit that hard. You need incredible head movement to get inside and be fast and accurate enough to destroy on the inside, quickly.

Which is why Tyson wrecks wilder, Frazier gets destroyed. Tyson also wrecks foreman despite what foreman and Tyson may have thought.

I mostly agree with you. I am not sure Wilder generates power inside though. I think his power is out at mid to long range where is long arms bring advantage.

Inside, he just looks uncoordinated. He doesnt have that inside technique like a Tyson or Fraizer that allowed them to generate power inside.

I could be wrong but I haven't seen Wilder deliver devastating shots inside.

Of course it will take a brave man to test that theory which I think is one of your points.

I don't think he was saying it was easy to execute - I agree with you it would be risky vs Wilder - but I do agree with him that closing the distance on Wilder and sticking on his chest is a pretty decent game plan to beat him, assuming a good jaw and high output. He likes to control distance in such a way he can time the right hand and step in with it. Swarming him would deny control of timing and distance and might also mitigate some of his power...
