wlad vs sanders prescott vs khan wlad vs purrity rubio vs Lemieux morales vs raheem raheem isn't really a journeyman but was still a huge underdog against morales who had just defeated pacman in their first fight. Collazo vs Ortiz roy jones jr vs too many to list lol.yes I know he is shot to hell.
Wayne Alexander vs serge vigne and Delroy Mellis Haye vs Carl Thompson Benn vs Mclennen hearns vs Barclay Kirkland Laing vs Duran Bomber Graham vs Chris Johnson
I hate when people call Douglas a journeyman or bum. As you said, he was just wasted talent. The night he beat Tyson the stars were aligned and everything came together for him. I'd take that version of Douglas to beat any of todays contenders who dont even know how to work the body, move there head or throw anything more than a two punch combination.
Purrity is the ONLY journeyman to upset Wladimir....... Wlad made a rookie mistake thinking he could KO the GOAT chin, and punched himself out over 11 rds. When he gassed.....Purrity put it on him and his corner pulled him out.:think
Pendleton vs Mayweather has to be up there. Alot of people here naming fighters that produced upsets, but "not" journeymen.
I would say Sanders was a fringec contender rather than journeyman. Until that point and even after he had not beaten top 10 fighter. Not a bad fighter, just nothing to suggest he was anything more than what he was. I agree with the Puritty explanation, but its still counts. In no way, shape or form should Wlad have lost to him.
Michael Bentt was far from being a journeyman but him knocking out Morrison was not how it was planned
