So I thought every day I would pick a boxer. Past or present and give 3 clues and see if people can guess who he is. British 10 back to back world title fights (11 if you count interim) Won a bronze medal
I think it'd be fairer if you told us where they won their medal - ie. world championships/olympics/commonwealth games etc.
Spot on mate, seriously didn't think anyone would get that I'll think of a harder one and post it tomorrow, in the mean time though if anyone has any please post so we can guess.
Was going to say Scott Harrison as soon as I seen the question. the first Brit ever to medal at the World amateurs, all those world title fights with only one defeat he revenged in spectacular fashion 3-4 months later. Some achievement especially as all achieved by the age of 28.
Out of interest mate does your dad rate Harrison the best he fought? He fought Buckley then Scott in next fight has there even been such a jump up in class of opponent in one fight? Dont get me wrong your old man beat Wenton in previous fight which was an excellent win for him.
Yes mate he said when juuko hit him it felt like he was being hit by a brick but he said Harrison is the best he fought. Richie didn't want that fight his dad said he was trying to get out of it the night before when he seen him weigh in. Just goes to show you can win a fight before you get into the ring. He wasn't the same fighter after the bradley stone fight.
Cheers for your answer pal. It's like Bruno v Tyson beat before he goes into the ring, bet it happens more than we will ever know.
Won a gold at all Africa games then turned pro 2 years later and KO'D scarface in 1st rnd. British and commonwealth champion. Southpaw. Name that boxer
Been in prize fighter twice. Never been stopped. Held same belt Adonis Stevenson once held at a different weight.
