    What were most anticipated from 2000.

    For me Mayweather-Pacquiao, Golovkin-Canelo and Klitschko-Joshua.

    The most hyped fights were never the best fights. Stuff like Marquez vs Vazquez III flew under everybody's radar.

    Biggest fights can mean a few things tbf, you can take into account most sought after fights, biggest drawing, most defining to the sport, ones that left the biggest impact.

    If we took all those into account I'd probably go with:

    1. Mayweather v Pacquiao
    2. Pacquiao v Marquez VI
    3. Mayweather v De La Hoya

    Canelo v Golovkin is a huge fight but I do t think either have really hit the star power than Floyd or Manny did yet.

    1) Floydweather vs Pac (obviously, as it took 6 years to make)
    2) Klitschko vs Haye
    3) Lewis vs Tyson

    Those that didn't happen.

    1) Lewis vs Vitali II
    2) Kovalev vs the Pimp

    I was in Vegas in May 2007....and Maywheather - De la Hoya...was huuuuge.

    There was 8000 people just for the weight in.

    Maybe not as big than Money-Pac....but very very close

    Had Mayweather vs Pac happened five years earlier, any other fight wouldn’t be worth mentioning.

    3. Corrales vs Castillo

    Honorable mention;
    Katsidis vs either Earl, Marquez, or Casamayor

    Best low-level fight you'll never see;
    Ozkan vs Chong Nee

    Number one is unquestionably Carl Froch vs George Groves II in front of 80,000 at Wembley Stadium.

    It was a huge fight, wtf are you talking about?
    It was the fight of 2017 in Europe.

    Media publications who dont talk boxing wrote about it. Casual sports fans tuned in. People who don´t care about boxing knew a big fight was happening.
    I come from a place where boxing is dead, that night it was alive.
