Name the boxers (Prospects, World Champions, or Elites) who you believe will come unstuck over the next year or so...whether they may be taking a step up in class, or they have a packed division, etc. I personally believe the following will take a defeat over the next year or so... James DeGale...is being pushed along too quickly, is too arrogant (even though he says he's just confident), and it wouldn't hurt if he moved down to Middleweight. Yourkis Gamboa...I don't know why I see him struggling when he takes a step up in class, especially as the guy has blinding speed and power. :huh Andre Ward...I'm not as convinced as a lot of people about Ward, I wouldn't put money on him coming out on top in the Super 6. I think Dirrell beats him anyway, in my opinion. I could name more, but I'll leave the rest to you. :good
Tomasz Adamek: He looked great against Arreola but a Haye or Klitschko take him out, heck Chambers probably beats him. Lucian Bute: Miranda and Andrade are good but not great, if he faces a Super Sixer he won't look so great. Chris John: His last fights haven't been against good opposition, Juanma or Gamboa are animals.
I think Haye and either Klitschko beat Adamek at the minute, doubt Chambers does though. Havn't been that impressed by John lately, the divisions heating up aswell.
Yuri Foreman about to get his belt taken by Miguel Cotto.. Tim Bradley - if and when he fights Alexander..
pretty much dissagree with all of this. DeGale looked more than ok last time out, Gamboa is super talented and Ward i most people's pick to win the Super Six. here's mine 1) Amir Kahn - although he is not as drained at LWW, there r still question marks over his chin which shud be tested sooner rather than later. 2)Carl Froch - i think he losses to AA and his career might be done from them on
Rendall Munroe (against Nishioka) Wilfredo Vazquez Junior (possibly against Bedak) N'Jikam (against Golovkin) Gamboa (a big puncher will KO him sooner or later) Juan Ma Lopez (he can be outboxed) Yuri Foreman (Cotto will stop him) Darren Barker (KO waiting to happen) Zbik (will lose when he steps up)
Martinez; he'll lose to Williams again, but badly in the rematch, or he'll get hammered by Margo again. Only this time it's a bigger, stronger, better version of Margo. He gets way to much credit for beating the worst version of Pavlik we've ever seen.
Devon Alexander, I just like this kid! James Kirkland when he starts back in the swing of things! Andre Ward or Dirrell!
Tho I gate to say this.. JMM. Based on him taking an unnecessary dangerous fight in Juan Diaz. (Rematch) A loss could spell the end of his run as a top dog, where as Diaz has nothing to lose. (BTW, I hope I am wrong)
