I think I'd pick Marciano to beat Dempsey and Tunney. I've always wanted to know if Jack could take a dose of his own medicine with a ferocious inside fighter who could match his power and tenacity, plus had the toughness to go the long haul.

    You're basically describing Carl Froch.

So, Froch punches harder and has more stamina than Archie Moore?

When Moore was coming off victories over Olson, Valdes, Johnson, Baker and Maxim- almost in a row and three by KO- he proved he couldn't last in either department against Marciano.

Perhaps you should consider what you write before you actually proceed in writing it.

A slightly stronger, slightly bigger Carl Froch. Think about it. He's a tough, durable fighter, who frequently gets outboxed and then winds up winning fights by knocking his opponents out when they tire and he's still fresh. The man has freakish stamina and conditioning, but is not known for his speed or technique.

Except Froch is taller and has a longer reach.

Qwai. Probably the most underrated fighter of my lifetime.

Froch is more like a smaller Rex Layne.

I'd go for Langford over him, but there's a fair bit of guesswork going on there.

I don't think anybody would be favoured over him at 190.

And if I had to bet my life on someone doing it, it would be RJJ, circa Montel 2.

    Many named Dempsey here.

I'm sure Rocky knocks Dempsey out 8 times out of 10.
Holyfield from his Qawi-2 fight has the best chances.
