Blizzy thinks he's a short order chef cooking his thread, lol, You may have started it but we can ask what we want when we want you peanut headed control freak. Nobody own's a convo Blizzy, so stop over stepping your bounds again with your confused justice, lol personally i find the reasons why we dislike/hate specific boxers very interesting.
Stevenson disturbs me after i read links to the charges and testimonys of the girls he terrorized. But the guy that bugs me the most for stupid reasons is Oscar, lmao, i wont even justify it,
How could I have forgotten this complete tool.....JAMES DEGALE. Absolute twat as a boxer and a human being.
Some of your choices I have to admit...seem to want to bother others more than giving your true feelings about guys you truly dislike or hate. But I do have to take you guys word for it lol. Whatever you post is what I have to ride with. I kinda dislike Loma and Joshua for boxing reasons. Joshua not facing Wilder yet, and some of the ridiculous things that he says, and Loma for not rematching Salido, but I didn't put them on this list because it hasn't gotten that deep yet. I don't truly dislike either guy, but I'm critical of them. I was a GG hater. But when he fought Jacobs and Canelo, have I dissed him? I was critical of Wlad and many are still critical of him...but I have seen guys careers all but end and he kept on going and forced me to respect him. I respected him even when he was losing because he wasn't hiding in Russia. But he earned my respect. Simple example on why I feel the way that I do. Hopefully you guys can get a gauge in my thinking: When it was all said and done many people like and love Kostya Tszyu, I don't. I've seen great after grreat after great come up short, lose a decision and get ko'd in rematches...and guys today call Kostya great. Why didn't he rematch Phillips? What made my emotions even stronger was seeing Shane Mosley lose to Forrest (RIP) screaming from a body sho, go down, lose...going the distance, and go right back into the fire for the rematch. Mosley earned my respect for the rest of his career win or lose because to go back in that ring and rematch a man who took you to the woodshed takes a confidence only seen ion boxers. Even Joe Frazier rematching Foreman who damn near bludgeoned him in the first fight did the same in the second. Joe knew it was coming but he had to try one more time. Terry Norris took credit for beating Mugabi in a round and Hagler was the one who broke him in 10+ rounds. Incredible! Norris took one look at McClellan and imo wasn't going to ever go to MW to fight him and this was when many were talking about he was pfp best. He was asking to fight lil Chavez who was at 140 at the time. He disgusted me. I do feel sorry for Norris now and boxing is actually saving his life. Norris might be worse as bad or worse than Bowe. Guys started talking about how Szpilka lost to that Polish guy who stopped Szpilka sooner than Wilder did. That's todays fan thinking. That's how they think. Business decisions matter i guess. **** revenge, bypass the guy who beats you and keep it moving. Business decisions are a part of whats damaging boxing today. I call it an old way of thinking, but I've seen and talked to too many boxers who are kinda disappointed in how fans think today. But they love boxing fans and know that not all of them feel that way.
Wasn't there a this rumour where Broner actually sent his gang of thugs to go take the money back from him, mugged him or something.
Canelo, Ward, Dirrell. That's about it I think. Dislike Mayweather strongly as a person, but love him as a fighter. Oh, and Malignaggi's stupid hair really ****ed me off.
Can't say I hate anyone really, truly disliked during their time: Eubank Snr - Pretty much everyone loved to hate this guy. He was missed when he was gone though. Foreman - Disliked him immensely until the Ali fight, later came to respect and admire him. Completely changed opinion. Andre Ward - Hate his style of boxing, not the man. Broner - Dislike his personality, admire somewhat his boxing. Andre Golota - What is to like? Cheating quiter. There are a lot of names I could add to that, but in the rich tapestry of boxing history.. you get all kinds of characters. Every boxing fan should remember that the sport needs polarising characters. It is like theatre, we all need our own personal 'bad guy'. Take today's crop.. Wilder, AJ and Fury are polarising because they represent different nationalities with a different set of fans. If Wilder or AJ just retired tomorrow.. think how much bleaker the landscape would look. You might think you love Wilder and hate AJ.. but in reality.. you actually love to hate AJ.
I think that the only fighter that I ever truly hated was Teddy Reid. He was bragging over a guy he beat who he stopped who was in serious trouble I thought at the time. Not sure if the guy suffered damage but he didn't care. Guys usually stop celebrating once you see a guy in trouble and he didn't care. I'll never forget that. Don't remember the fighters name doe.
"Hate" as in I can't stand them. Not knowing them personally I wouldn't say hate, I'd just say here's ones I can't stand to hear talk and I root for to lose lol Adrien Broner David Haye Floyd Mayweather Gervonta Davis Carl Froch Malignaggi Jeff Horn is starting to really get annoying but he's not there yet and he might fade out after Crawford beats him. Shawn Porter surprisingly is going that way recently too. Trying to act like someone he's not or he was hiding it before but either way I like classier fighters not loud mouths. If you are going to be a loud mouth at least be funny like Ali or Fury and then you are alright.
Stevenson - really do dislike him, hope he gets KTFO brutally every time he fights. Broner - Don't care about him much now, only when he was undefeated and running his mouth. Garcia - Mainly because of the annoying ass father he has and hype/gifts, again don't really care about him now, but at one point I didn't like him at all. Wlad - another I disliked quite heavily up until his fight against Joshua where I gained some respect for him. Lots more but can't think of the top of my head now. In general I just don't like overly coc.ky fighters, especially when they haven't earned the right to be that way. Someone like Mayweather, Jones Jr, Ali, I don't mind but when it's people who have like 1 decent win, it's repulsive. Also hate "hometown" fighters like Felix Sturm, hiding in their backyard whilst avoiding true challenges. Another thing that I REALLY REALLY hate is when fighters run their mouths like they will do this and that in the build up to the fight, and when fight night comes, they don't even try. That's the worst right there, there's been plenty times where the fighter I was rooting for pulls that ****, in that case I start rooting for the opponent instead and hope he KO's him for it.
