    This mainly applies to the general public and not boxing fans:

    Mike Tyson's (early) defense. Everyone focused on that punching power, but behind that was a much smaller guy who still managed to constantly move forward and slip and counter punches.

    Wlad Klitschkos chin, i think lots of people and maybe even his opponents right him off as glass jawed after suffering 2 stoppages in a short period and going down vs Williamson and Peter

    but i think his chin is fine, he has taken some hard punches since those fights and has held up fine, i dont think his chin was responsible in any of the stoppages

    i think his speed is underestimated too, i think all of his opponents see the size the jab the power but i think many are very shocked to see how well he moves

    Chavez/Duran - defence.
    Hatton - footwork (dont know if this is underrated tbh)
    David Haye - defence/heart/chin
    Wlad - chin/speed
    Manny - counterpunching/boxing skills in general
    JMM - would say power and body punching but he proved this in his last fight so no longer underrated
