Sometimes called the 'Ron Borges Rule'...gets huge praise for his pick of Holyfield over Tyson in '96 and has lived off it for the rest of his career, without admitting the fact he picked Holyfield was basically because he hated Tyson...

 

Worst is that Atlas couldn't even back up the prediction, he had no reason to make the pick. He just picked Thompson, even though all signs point to the reasonable pick being Wlad.

It's a hater pick, plain and simple.

 

Teddy Atlas always picks the underdog ... he always sees a way for the under dog to win ... at times it makes sense but the underdog never executes.
