Name three man Mesi should before a title shot

he will have much more difficulties fighting with medical staff and comissions allowing him to step into the ring....

If he can get by any of those guys then he's ready for a title shot.

Mesi needs to step to prove more than just beating guys the caliber of Shannon Miller to earn a title shot. Though I will always worry for this guy's health.

Mesi probably wouldn't make it past Chapman in your list. I've never seen Faruq Saleem, so I can't comment on him.

 

Those would all be good fights for him, as all of those guys have good records and would be no match for him, but he's actually planning to take a somewhat tougher route and fight Brian Minto next, and then they were talking about taking on Rahman sometime early next year. After that, he could fight someone in the top 10, or just take a stay-busy fight and bank on getting a shot based on the previous two fights(which would be extremely likely).

Hopefully it starts and ends with Greenburg who would win but probably inflict the least amount of damage to Mesi. He needs to find another career or he will end up dying in the ring.

 

If he doesn't beat a Top 10 HW, he shouldn't be alloed to fight for the title. Simple as that. If he thinks he should jump ahead of people to get a title shot, then he should earn that right by beating them.

 

To be a contender --- you have to beat a contender.
Joe Mesi hasnt done that.
He shouldnt even be talking title until he starts beating contenders.
Not "D" clas fighters or has beens.
