Never seen him on film thats why I put him in there :D

I dont even know what kind of fighter he was. Other than he was under 5ft and is the kind of fighter he would have relished having the modern day divisions of straw and lightfly because he came in well under the flyweight limit in just about every fight there are weights listed for him.

Interesting you listed Spinks's best attribute as his power, I wouldnt have personally, dont think his speed, technical ability or skills are more prominant?

Charles-Complete :p ...Understand why you said that but the whole reason I did this thread is because several of those fighters were considered well balanced and complete fighters so I wanted to gauge what attribute stuck out at people the most.

Spinks was a hard one to nail down just one attribute. I settled on power because he was capable of turning a fight with one shot.
Same with Charles, so many attributes made him a great fighter...very tough to decide on one. How about 'Resiliency.'

By the way excuse my ignorance but what did you mean when you said Burley was a stylist?
Just wanted to confirm we are on the same page.

To me Burley was an original in the way that he fought. His methods of setting up counter punching opportunities with circular, rolling, upper body movement, footwork, hand placement, and angles was totally unique IMO.

No, I haven't, as there isn't that much footage of him available. I've just read many accounts of his style and his career, hope to see some footage of him sometime soon though, however much there is.

Perez was a complete boxer-puncher, he was undersized so did seem to favour setting a high pace and using a lot of educated pressure and two-fisted combo's, rather than sitting back on the outside.

Burley's best attribute was punching power, all the way up to HW, his single punches were hurtful, at welter and middle he was banging holes in the barn door. It's not concussive power, but every shot was mean.
