Zbik, Brähmer and Sylvester and they are all from the former DDR
(RobertStieglitz)Sergey Shtikhlits was born in Russia but has german roots

Well considering they were all born in Britain thats much better than having:

Abraham, Kentikian - Armenia

Sturm/Huck - Bosnia/Serbia

Stieglitz - Kazakhstan (?)

You act like because I'm British I actu ally like all or the majority of British fighters. I dont. My top 5 favoruite boxers are Canadian, Australian, Japan x2 and Thai.

 

I have no problem with the fact that our top fighters are immegrants.
And i'm not a german Patriotism too. (only at soccer)

My favorite boxer is Juan Manuel Marquez
My favorite german boxers are Abraham and Stieglitz

One of my favorite fighters was Calzaghe and i'm still not sure if i should cheer for Abraham or Froch

 

Might have to factor Pirog into my top 5 favoruite soon if he puts on another perfmormance like he did v Jacobs. Was a joy to watch.

 

Id replace Cazares with the Giant Killer Omar Nino Romero

 

Pirog was great but i still belive Grennady Golovkin is the best middleweight form eastern europe. This guy has it all.

British Matthew Macklin seems to be a future top middleweight too

 

Barker > Macklin IMO

and yes I do agree Golovkin will probably be the middleweight ruler in the future but Pirog's style is very pleasing on the eye and hes seems pretty cool aswell.
