I had a black box when I was in college. Used to tell my friends to chip in $5 and bring a 12 pack and I would get the fight. Always ended up with some cash and left over beer. Good times.

I envy you young guys who have access to all the old fights this early in your boxing fan experience. If you take the time to watch the old fights and educate yourself on the fighters and eras, you will be great, knowledgable fans.

If you fall into the boxrec trap, however....... you will be Failey.

Tyson got me into boxing, but my favorite boxers turned out to be counter-punchers, not swarmers

Floyd mayweather because I've won so much money off of him it ridiculous.

Prince Naseem Hamed..There are no many fighter that has as much charisma as he did. He was the complete package.

Lennox Lewis, When he was in shape and focused he had a regal aura about himself, to say that he was far superior to any opponent that is place in front of him.

Roy Jones, So tru so true, YALL M'STA FORGOT! Before there was a Money Mayweather or a PACQUIAO, Roy was captivating the audience, with his razzle dazzle style.

Felix Trinidad, I have much respect for this guy because he is one of the few that didn't duck anyone. He move up to a weight and cleaned it out. No catch weights, he did it like the all times greats did.

Evander Holyfield, he was a true warrior taking on all. He was undersized, but his heart wasn't.

Juan Marquez, this guy to me is currently p4p #2. He's one of those guys that just couldn't get a break if you know what I mean, but he did have some good paydays so I can't feel to sorry for him. Most Mexican fighters are brawlers, but this man can box and he is damn good.

yeah yeah yeah I know about the old timers, but I'm giving some of the young buck credit. Its easy to name Pernell Whitaker and be a follower, but I'm representing for the younger fighters.

gatti/corales/pretty boy/JMM/MAB/Martinez/Donaire/ward in no particular order. I've only been watching since Hatton/FMJ as I had to basically discover my love for it myself. Favorite old fighters though are Ali/Tyson/Duran/Sweet Pea
