    I'll start the thread with one of my all time favorite and I think highly underrated fights - Cung Le vs Frank Shamrock.

    Back in 1999 - Black Belt magazine published a special edition entitled - the greatest martial artists of the Twentieth Century. It was a fascinating look at roughly fifteen or so martial artists and explained why each was so great. On the list were illustrious names such as Benny Uriquidez, Royce Gracie, Frank Shamrock, and Cung Le who at the time was the world san shou champion. Fast forward to 2008 and as unlikely as it seemed - two of those greatest martial artists met in the ring to battle it out for local bragging rights. The fight featured some brilliant kickboxing exchanges and showcased what MMA can be at the highest levels. This was a fight between two seasoned, crafty competitors and it did not disappoint.

    Hendo vs Fedor

    In a long awaited dream fight - Dan Henderson hands the great Fedor another loss - effectively ending his top level MMA career. The fight only lasted for one round but had enough brutal exchanges in it coupled by some slick MMA grappling to make it a candidate for "Hagler/Hearns of MMA."

    Cyborg Santos vs Yamanaka - not a great moment, per se. But I watched it with my grandfather. He doesn't really get the name "MMA." So he calls it Kickboxing. :D

    Tyron Woodley getting beaten was hard to watch, but you have to appreciate Nate Marquardt putting on a great display of MMA. Too soon, junior.

    Nick Diaz in general was the highlight of Strikeforce for me. Every time he fought, it was an event.

    Same goes for Fedor, but as a huge Fedor fan, it wasn't as pleasant to watch.

    **** man, it was one of the most awful thing I ever watched...

    The only time I had the chance to watch Fedor fight live...he lost both time...

    And I still say that the Silva lost is the worst one... !
