I honestly believed and argued with many friends about that prediction too. Really thought Haye would go in there and throw combinations, mostly to the body and keep active enough to land meaningful shots. I know Haye always had stamina issues which is why I thought he would mostly be focused on body shots to tire Wladimir for late rounds. I honestly didn't expect him to go in there stiff as a bone, do stupid faces, move the hell away at all costs and throw predictable hayemakers here and there. Boy was that night embarrassing and the toe excuse almost immediately sent me to sleep to save face.

Donaire Rigondeaux. It's not really about getting predictions wrong. It's about getting the opposite to what you were expecting. I never expected Rigondeaux to basically annihilate Donaire in such a manner. On a lesser scale, Lopez vs Salido, Ward vs Dawson.

Donaire/Rigo wasn't a bad prediction with the information everyone had going into the fight.

I had Abraham over Froch :patsch
Cotto over Trout as well.... admittedly i knew very little about Trout.

I was going to predict Donaire over Rigo but i held off on that because the more i saw of Rigo the more nervous i got over it.

Also thought Pac was going to get a definitive win over JMM in the 3d fight but JMM schooled him.

Bute-Froch (thought Bute would outbox him)
Donaire-Rigo (thought Donaire would either KO him or beat him to a wide UD)

I was pretty sure Trout would actually school Alvarez, that one didn't turn out too well.
Not really any one fight but last weekend I bet 7-10 fights on props and lost all but like two of them. Tripled my pot so nothing to whine about, but it felt weird to be that wrong lol.

I was once a Bootay believer, Froch destroyed him though, also expected Moreno to school Mares.

I put $1000 on Bute to beat Carl Froch.

  14. Ever since I picked Tarver to beat Hopkins, I've been gun shy about making picks. I did really feel like Hatton could beat Mayweather (embarrassing :-( ) ...

Those are probably my worst picks... until this Saturday anyway (I've once again publicly picked against Mayweather). :yikes

Pac-Marquez. I felt Pac might win by KO because: 1) Extra motivation from Bradley robbery 2) JMM saying that he was going for the KO, I felt that it was too risky against someone like Manny, especially at 38

    ****.
