Then why did you number them in order? And even more criminally, why did you include John Ruiz's name in the honorable mention?

:patsch I forgot about Montanez i did that list off the top of my head. So ill take off Cocoa(and Put Montanez with Camacho) I would not argue if one would put Vasquez and Torrres in Cottos place only hairs seperating those 2.

Forgot about Cocoa Kid:patsch being cuban . I knew i was forgetting someone when i left out Montanez im thinking there somebody else just did the list off the top. I also would argue with putting Ortiz 1st my top 3 are pretty even in my opinion.

    Numbers are always in order.

John Ruiz, only as a potential candidate.

I forgot about John John Molina who should be in the top 10 PRs. He was very good in his prime He has some dominate wins against some good fighters. His best one was the 2nd fight against a prime Tony Lopez and he dominated that fight. Also shut out Medina and won a wide one over Goyo Vargas. Gave a young Oscar a good fight too.

I think Molina is one of the most underrated fighters in the last 20 years or so.
Also through in Laporte and took Calderon off of my top 15.

Anothe forgotten fighter is Victor Callejas who hit like a mule and was very fast, Too bad he had to run into a prime Fenech on his best night.

No it's not by a fair distance, he's a lock for the top 3 and can be rated as number 1 but Benitez and Gomez have just as strong if not a stronger case for the number 1 spot.
