I see where you are coming from, most points you have said are true if you look at a fight from the angle you are coming at. Howard Foster was standing to the left of Froch and Groves when the action took place. He made an instinct reaction to stop the fight when Froch landed a wild and desperate but a hard left hook followed by a right to the head which Groves did not see coming as he was facing the canvas. He then intervened to stop the fight and protect the fighter. If he was standing on the other side of the pair, who knows he might not have stopped it. I would love to know what every other referee would have done in that situation.
Froch vs Groves left the same kind of fealing as Rogan vs ***ton 1. Though at least Rogan did have a bad cut. But similar kind of thing.
What was worst about this is the referee did wave it off, then changed his mind when the bell went. He jumped in waving his arms before the bell had actually gone!
Purdy v Rivera was a disgraceful British stoppage. Ref couldn't wait to stop that Harrison v Bonin Orvill v Mac 1 Bellew v Orvil 1 Calzaghe v Manfredo
Ovill v Enzo was bad so was calzaghe v manfredo.1 that should of been stopped that wasn't was vit klit v. Briggs
Ozil vs Enzo I and Calzaghe vs Manfredo. The Calzaghe one smacked of ''he's gonna get beat anyways might as well end it here. Bored..'' And the Ovil one is basically ''it's Enzo he's gonna get sparked best save him''. This is after he takes one half decent punch . Preconceived opinions of fighters...
The worst stoppage ever though for me is Calzaghe vs Torres. Truly awful.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOqMtEOpnmA
