He could have set up a record for KOs that not even Moore would have been able to surpass if he hadn´t died. But even if he would have surciced the accident he wouldn´t have been able to continue boxing since they hat to take of one of his legs if I remember right.
Stribling's foot was nearly severed in the accident ,he was taken to the same hospital his wife was in,she had just given birth, he lingered for awhile and spoke a few words to her, but succumbed to his injuries.
